A Wellington event Wednesday night will shed light on the role German woman in the Holocaust.
The aim is to break the narrative that they were just housewives and didn’t contribute to the war and killing. Former Holocaust Museum fellow Wendy Lower wrote “Hitler’s Furies: German Women in the Nazi Killing Fields” and will lead the discussion.
The event will take place at 7 p.m. at Temple Beth Torah, 900 Big Blue Trace.
Its free but organizers are asking people to register early online.
