Wellington’s Village Council will have a packed agenda Tuesday night, highlighted by the selection of finalists for the vacant council seat.
- Each of the four council members will choose up to three finalists based on the 30 resumes that were submitted and brief presentations. The council has scheduled a final interview for Wednesday night, where they are expected to choose one person.
- The Council will also consider the status of Village Attorney Laurie Cohen’s contract and decide a process for negotiations. It did the same with Village Manager Paul Schofield last year, ultimately deciding to renew his contract.
- The council will also consider whether the proposed county sales tax increase should be sent to the voters in a referendum.
