Former Vice Mayor John Greene to be honored at council meeting

The Wellington Village Council has a light agenda Tuesday night, but will be bringing back an old face.

Former Vice Mayor John Greene will be honored at the meeting for “his dedicated service and significant contributions to the village,” according to the agenda.

The consent agenda will include the next step in the Saddle Trail South paving project. The measure will authorize a $3.2 million bond for the project that will be paid for through a special tax of the residents.

The regular agenda will include a $85,210 contract with JMW Construction Corporation for Hawthorne Park improvements.
