Wellington synagogue hires first full-time rabbi

A Wellington synagogue is growing.

Temple B’nai Jacob, 12794 Forest Hill Blvd, has hired it’s first full-time rabbi as many conservative temples are downsizing or closing their doors, according to a news release. David Sislen will begin at the temple on July 1.

Sislen started in Washington D.C. and has served as a rabbi in congregations in Maryland, New York and Florida.
