Wellington Council to consider B&B changes at meeting

The Wellington Village Council is expected to act on an ordinance tonight that could allow for more Bed and Breakfasts.

B&Bs are allowed in Wellington now, but strict guidelines have made it almost impossible for potential owners to turn a profit. There are currently no licensed B&Bs in the village, but there is a market because the hotels are full throughout the winter season’s equestrian events.

The meeting is slated to begin at 7 p.m. at Village Hall. You can read the agenda here, watch the meeting here and read the latest Palm Beach Post story on the issue here.
