In a village known for its marathon meetings, Wellington’s Village Council wrapped up in just about an hour Tuesday night.
The meeting lacked fireworks, with most of the discussions moving along quickly.
In one item to keep an eye on, the group selected Councilman Michael Drahos to negotiate Village Attorney Laurie Cohen’s contract. Cohen signed a one-year deal last year and her current contract will be up in April.
After the negotiation, the council must decide whether to bring her back.
