But the refuge has you covered if you’re looking for a family event.

It’ll host the event in honor of Everglades Day from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. with music, presentations, guided walks and activities for children, according to a news release.

Parking for the event will be located at the Solid Waste Authority’s Southwest County Transfer Station,  about 1 and 1/2 miles south of the refuge on the east side of U.S. 441.
