Combined Relay for Life to hit South Florida Fairgrounds

The annual Relay For Life will hit the South Florida Fairgrounds this weekend and it will be bigger than ever.

This year organizers have combined individual events from Royal Palm Beach, Wellington, Loxahatchee Groves, Acreage and West Palm Beach to create one big relay to raise money for the American Cancer Society.

The event will take place from 3 to 11 p.m. Saturday. The gates will open at 2 p.m. and the opening ceremonies will start right at 3.

The Relay for Life is the signature fundraiser for the American Cancer Society and it’s organized by volunteers in 5,200 communities and 20 countries.
