Only one Big Blue Trace road project expected to get done this year

One of the two Wellington road improvement projects to help drainage along Big Blue Trace is expected to get done this year but the other will likely be pushed to 2018.

The project at the intersection of Big Blue and Wiltshire to raise the road and add turn lanes could get started as soon as July.

The other, at the intersection with Barberry, is still in the design phase, so Village Manager Paul Schofield will suggest that the work get kicked to 2018 to avoid construction during the winter equestrian season.

The council approved the money for these projects in the last budget.
