Wellington throws it back decades with two tribute concerts at the Amphitheater this week. A 2016 movie based on a book published in 1871 rounds out the weekend entertainment.
A Jimi Hendrix tribute band takes the stage tonight at 6:30 p.m. when it plays for the Food Truck Invasion, which starts at 5 p.m. “GIMI JIMI” is a local Hendrix cover band in which the singer dresses up in several authentic costumes.
Breaking up the concerts will be a showing of “Alice Through the Looking Glass,” which is rated PG and visits Lewis Carroll’s iconic characters. The film starts at 8:30 p.m. and is one hour and 53 minutes long.
Saturday night, The Beatles are coming to…Wellington? Not quite, but the Florida band “Let it Be” has a show at 8:30 p.m.
