GREENACRES — Hoffman’s Chocolates will feature magic shows and face painting on Saturday at its 5190 Lake Worth Road store.
Master Magician Gary will perform two 45-minute shows at 1 and 3 p.m.
Guests can also have their faces painted with creative designs and glitter.
The chocolate store will feature the same show at its Palm Beach Gardens store on Sunday at the same time. That store is on 10957 North Military Highway.
The event is free.
Wellington is seeking early sign-ups for its International Coastal Cleanup, one of its biggest volunteer projects of the year, which is scheduled for April 15.
Volunteers will pick up trash along Greenbriar Boulevard and Greenview Shores Boulevard, and also the Folkestone/Yarmouth community. To sign-up, people can visit the Wellington village website at
wellingtonfl.gov and fill out an application form.

Students participating in the Young Art Masters Auction were honored last week, and there is still time to see their work.
People can check out the artwork at Nu Vista Living in Wellington and bid on it
online though the end of the month.
The program, underwritten by the Jacobs Family Foundation, give the students supplies for paintings, digital art, photography and ceramics.
The auction raises money for the schools. Participating schools include Wellington, Royal Palm Beach, Palm Beach Central and John I. Leonard high schools.

Locals are heading to the Wellington Amphitheater Sunday night for an earth-friendly event.
The Earth Day/Arbor Day event will feature music, demonstrations and natural products. It’s scheduled for 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The Village will also honor its volunteers at the free event.

Wellington residents will have a chance to meet the people who keep them safe Friday morning when the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office holds a coffee event at McDonalds.
The informal chat between deputies and locals will take place from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the 1470 Greenview Shores Blvd. location of the fast food restaurant.
McDonalds will give out free small coffees to people who show up for the event.
